Fall Break trip

The kids and Liz had a 5 day break, so I requested the time off also. We could only take 3 days, so we went up to Yellowstone park. The temperatures were unseasonably warm. We saw a black bear, buffalo, Coyote, elk, and deer. We stopped at Old Faithful as it is one of Stetson's favorites. We camped in Yellowstone and Cody, WY. In Cody we walked to the Buffalo Bill Museum, which is 5 museums together. Lonnie loved the gun museum. It had guns from old westerns like Bonanza, Ringo, John Wayne's guns, etc. There were thousands of guns!!!!!!!!! The artist's museum was closed, but the kids loved the Indian and Museum of Natural History. It was very interactive. We also walked to a minature museum. It was very well done. We enjoyed campfires, s'mores and playing on the playground. We were packed into the motor home (10 of us in all-7 kids ages 2-12 and 3 adults). It was a grand time, memorable for me--hopefully for the kids.
